A hundred years since the shield of the Muslims feel must mark an era of renewed hope.
Today marks exactly one hundred years since the abolition of the Islamic Caliphate. A full century of the absence of leadership for the Muslim Ummah, and a full century of a lack of state level guidance for the world.
In the hundred years that have passed the world has changed drastically , technological advancements have many questioning the threats things such as Ai pose to the existence of humanity itself. A hundred years of global policies by the leading powers in the world have meant that there is now one of the largest migrations of people across the world in recorded history.
When people are willing to knowingly put their young children whom they love and cherish at death’s door in an attempt to cross the Mediterranean Sea for a better future, humanity has to accept it has been failed by those who control the geopolitics and economics of the world. The same powers that have watched for months as women and children in Palestine have been ethnically cleansed into near annihilation.
A century after the absence of Islamic ruling the world has not moved forward in fact it has been dragged back into the dark ages. It may be true that more people than ever have access to mobile phones and knowledge at their fingertips than ever before. However, it is equally apparent that more people than ever have no idea where their next meal is coming from. This is no longer only the case in the developing world, the prevalence of food banks, homelessness and poverty across the developed world has shown that the western world is unable to solve the problems of its own people let alone save the rest of the world.
The multitude of issues that have faced the Muslim Ummah in the last century since their leadership was removed are beyond compare. The attacks against Islam and the Ummah have been relentless, millions have died at the hands of the colonial powers, and any and every idea of Islam including the Quran and the Prophets (as) have been ridiculed and mocked.
There is nothing sacred for those professing to lead humanity , the ideas of freedom of speech apply only when they are speaking, intellectual discourse is only on their terms, military resistance is a right only they enjoy.
It is clear no one is coming to save the Muslim Ummah, any hope in our leaderships across the world has been lost. The ongoing genocide in Palestine has dispelled any remaining myths that the mandate of the rulers in the Muslim lands is anything other than to act on the behalf of their Western masters.
What is not clear to everyone and what must become clear is that the solution for Muslims and wider humanity does not lie in anything other than Islam. No flavour of Democracy, Socialism or Dictatorship is saving us. This may to many (especially Western politicians) seem like a delusional belief in an idea long lost, so be it. They have through their actions proven that the lunatics have truly taken over the asylum. Their views are now irrelevant to the future of humanity.
The next one hundred years must be of hope, a hope built on Islam and in Islam and Islam alone.

This is day one - more to come
